Let Them Eat Cake!!!

So.....there were some technical difficulties preventing me from making a Geeky Recipe for this week... Never fear though, Paused-Lifers! Once again, the power-on-high for all crafting and creativity, Pinterest, has led to a solution: Geeky Cakes!

As a bonus for those of you who scrolled all the way down I've decided to share with you my super easy fondant recipe (which is like every other easy fondant recipe out there, I admit it)! Now you can attempt some of these cakes yourselves!

Ingrediants:

16 oz of marshmallows. Mini are easier to work with.
8 cups and extra powdered sugar
around 4 tbsp water, you might need more depending on how dry it comes out.

1.) Put the marshmallows and water into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the marshmallows get smooth.
2.) Add in the powdered sugar in small amounts. Once you get all the sugar in it will be too thick to stir.
3.) Scrape out the mixture onto a surface dusted with powdered sugar. Knead the fondant like you would bread, until it gets smooth and looses its stickiness.
4.) Now, you can roll out the fondant and use it, or add flavorings and food coloring if you want. Knead in the coloring/ flavor. If it gets dry as you work with it you can add in more water as needed.

So, which is your favorite? Would you like to see me attempt an epic geeky cake like these? Leave a comment and, as always, subscribe and share if you likey~
